ABOUT SOASA
The Southern Ohio Adult Soccer Association (SOASA) is one of fifty-four State Associations sanctioned by the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA) and the United States Soccer Federation (USSF). As the governing body for Central and Southern Ohio, SOASA provides the playing structure for roughly 1,500 adult amateur soccer players.
BENEFITS OF JOINING SOASA
When you join a team in one of the above SOASA sanctioned leagues you become a part of several different groups. You become part of that team and league. And you become part of SOASA; the United States Adult Soccer Association; the United States Soccer Association and FIFA! Affiliation with these groups, in addition to other benefits, gives players and teams the opportunity to participate in various competitions and events.
USASA manages the annual Adult Soccer Fest, which includes competition for Men's and Women's Open, Men's and Women's Over 30 - Over 70, Walking Soccer, 3 v 3, as well as Extended Teams.
SOASA offers the annual Ken Conselyea SOASA Cup to determine its champions as well as its representative teams in the USASA Region II Tournament of Champions.
Joining SOASA provides many other benefits, including decades of organizational experience and support; FIFA certified referees; as well as supplemental player injury insurance, league commercial liability and Directors and Officers insurance coverage.
